Margaret Beaton

Experienced with people. Accomplished in business.

As an organisational psychologist, I combine strong coaching skills and commercial acumen to help you grow as a leader – and accelerate your career.

A leading executive coach

For more than 25 years, I have been coaching existing and aspiring C-suite members across Australia’s most influential organisations. Recognised as one of the country’s top executive coaches, I believe that to accelerate and sustain business success, you need to empower leaders first.

My experience in cognitive and organisational psychology helps me grasp a deeper, more holistic understanding of you, the individual. And it helps me align your goals with those of your organisation.

As your coach, I work with you on a professional and personal level so you can thrive at work – and in life.

An astute business mind

With a deep background in business and leadership, I’m well-attuned to the demands you face as an executive. And I know the impact that a strong, self-aware leader can have on organisational performance.

Before becoming an executive coach, I owned and operated a leading physiotherapy practice in South Africa. I later co-founded beaton – a world-class B2B consulting and research house. At the firm, I:

Built its successful ‘Leadership & Change’ practice

Led a range of brand and engagement research projects

Developed one of the first online 360˚ feedback systems

Created the original competency model used by professional services firms.

A respected academic

I completed a Master of Applied Psychology, specialising in burnout and mid-life transitions. I later received my PhD, which explored how corporate customers perceive value.

During my time as a Senior Fellow at the Melbourne Business and Melbourne Law Schools, I also taught organisational behaviour, service management and people management.
